The VELFAC Classic System is a design icon, and the unique arrangement of frame means the sightlines are super-slim and identical for both opening and fixed lights alike.
This means that it is possible to create larger screens combining elements to create a modular architectural feature.

VELFAC windows, patio doors and sliding doors are made of durable materials that require a minimum of maintenance. We are careful in the selection of suppliers and in the requirements we place on the materials. These are all the cornerstones of a quality product.

The aluminium-clad exterior is highly durable and requires very little maintenance over its lifespan, making it well suited to the UK climate.
With aluminium on the outside, there is no need for external repainting. Ongoing maintenance is limited to cleaning and occasional lubrication of moving parts.

Standard glazing units contain cavities between the panes filled with argon gas. Argon is a naturally occurring, inert gas that improves thermal insulation and helps reduce heat loss through the window.
VELFAC uses FSC-certified® timber, helping to support responsible forest management and high environmental, social and economic standards in the sourcing of wood products.

The frames and mullions are made from FSC-certified® pine sourced from northern European forests. The timber is laminated and finger-jointed to improve stability and make efficient use of the raw material. At least 60% heartwood is used on fully or partially exposed external surfaces.

Top-guided window - Smooth operation • Excellent ventilation
A top-guided window provides controlled ventilation, allowing fresh air to enter from the top while maintaining a comfortable indoor environment.
Side-hung window - Ideal for tight spaces • Can serve as an emergency escape route
A side-hung window is hinged on one side and opens fully, offering excellent ventilation and a more traditional window style.
Fixed window - Low maintenance • Maximum daylight
Fixed windows do not open and are ideal for maximising natural light. They can be manufactured in a wide range of sizes and are often used alongside opening windows.
Colours - Classic white, elegant black, or a colour that makes a statement?
The colour of your windows has a big impact on the overall look of your home. VELFAC windows are available in a wide range of RAL colours, as well as selected granite and anodised finishes.
Standard: RAL colours
External aluminium windows and doors frames can be polyester-powder coated. Polyester powder coated aluminium is one of the most durable materials for window construction, offering a low maintenance, weather resistant surface.
If you require a colour that is not listed within our Standard colour range above, we are able to offer any colour from the RAL classic range; these will be subject to additional costs and lead times.

Granite Colours
Granite colours offer a modern textured finish that feels and looks like rough-cut granite.

These provide the high level of protection and hardness as the colour becomes one with the aluminium frame.
