A-labelled low-energy windows.

3-layer glass, durable aluminium on the outside and FSC-certified® pine wood on the inside.

VELFAC windows, patio doors and sliding doors are made of durable materials that require a minimum of maintenance. We are careful in the selection of suppliers and in the requirements we place on the materials. These are all the cornerstones of a quality product.

VELFAC 200

The exterior of the aluminium window is virtually maintenance-free in its lifetime and is well suited to the Great British climate with a lot of rain and wind.
When you choose windows and doors in aluminium on the outside, you do not have to paint the windows and your maintenance therefore only consists of keeping them clean and lubricating them a few times a year.

ur windows with 3-layer glazing are A-labelled low-energy windows, which provide a pleasant, bright indoor environment and as neutral a reproduction of colours of the surrounding nature as is technically possible.

The advantages of 3-layer glazing:

  • Achieve lower heat consumption due to good insulation performance
  • Reduce cold fallout and thus create a better indoor climate
  • Avoid drafts and therefore move the armchair very close to large windows and enjoy the view
  • Reduce the risk of overheating in summer

Insulating cavities

In a standard pane, cavities are created between the glass slices. In the cavities, there is the natural and harmless noble gas argon, which makes the pane highly insulating and helps to reduce the window's heat loss. Argon is extracted from the atmosphere and is the most common noble gas in nature.

FSC is an abbreviation for Forest Stewardship Council®. When you choose windows with FSC certification, you help to safeguard nature and the social conditions in the forests from which the wood comes. The FSC certification thus demonstrates that VELFAC meets the highest social and economic standards for the purchase and use of wood products..

How should your window open?

VELFAC 200 is available in many opening variants. Regardless of which you choose, the VELFAC 200 series has the same exterior look, so you get a uniform façade.

Top-guided window - for excellent ventilation

Top guided windows provide particularly good ventilation, as fresh air is able to enter from both above and below. Also they are very easy to operate.

Side-hung window - outward opening and perfect for fire egress routes

Sidehung windows, also called casement windows, are a type of window that opens outwards on hinges attached to the side of the window frame. They are a popular choice for houses as they provide good ventilation and the best “clear opening” area for the size of the frame.

Fixed window - unobstructed views and natural daylight

Fixed windows, also known as picture windows, are windows that cannot be opened or closed. They are designed to provide unobstructed views and allow natural light to enter a room.

Reversible windows, also known as tilt-and-turn windows, are a type of window that when opened can be rotated up to 170 degrees to be cleaned from the inside of the house.

Colours

Standard: RAL colours

External aluminium windows and doors frames can be polyester-powder coated. Polyester powder coated aluminium is one of the most durable materials for window construction, offering a low maintenance, weather resistant surface.

If you require a colour that is not listed within our Standard colour range above, we are able to offer any colour from the RAL classic range; these will be subject to additional costs and lead times.

NB: THE COLOURS SHOWN CANNOT BE REPRODUCED EXACTLY AS SEEN ON SCREEN HERE.

Standard RAL colours

Granite Colours

Granite is a GSB-approved powder coating, with the same durability and quality as "standard" powder coating, but with a modern textured finish that looks and feels like rough-cut granite.

NB: THE COLOURS SHOWN CANNOT BE REPRODUCED EXACTLY AS SEEN ON SCREEN HERE.

Granite Colour Options

Anodized Colours

Anodised frames provide the highest level of hardness and protection as it becomes part of the aluminium frame. However, colour variations between order batches may occur as the aluminium frames are not painted but subject to a natural chemical process.
NB: THE COLOURS SHOWN CANNOT BE REPRODUCED EXACTLY. There may be colour variations as the frames are subjected to a natural chemical process and are not painted.
