Julia and her husband were in the process of renovating their bungalow, a charming, converted barn in York. Their primary focus was on modernizing the windows with sleek, contemporary designs. Their son, an architect, recommended Velfac, leading them to explore our showroom.

Upon visiting, they were impressed by the Rationel AuraPlus and showed a strong interest in the Velfac range. Julia initially had concerns about the affordability of triple-glazed windows, but her husband believed it was worth obtaining a price estimate. After comparing quotes from several companies, they found us to be the most competitive, and the quality of our products further reassured them. Throughout various revisions to the quote, driven by changing requirements, they ultimately decided on the Velfac product. Julia was keen on exploring color options, and we promptly arranged for samples to be sent. After thoughtful consideration, they settled on a sophisticated pebble grey finish.

Given the large size of the windows required for their property, there were enquiries about opening styles to ensure fire egress compliance. We addressed all their concerns, providing detailed information.

Post-survey, some adjustments were made to the quote. Once approved by the customer and installer, the order was placed. The entire process, from the initial showroom visit to the delivery and installation, left the customer very pleased with their new windows.
