Crafting Elegance in Huddersfield: Ecotec and Velfac Windows Transform Stone-Built Property.

Rebecca contacted Ecotec through Velfac to match a section of the existing barn windows on their stone-built property in Huddersfield. Their goal was to replicate the appearance of the current 6-piece window setup with some minor alterations to the openers. Ecotec initiated the project by providing the client with a quotation.

Following few discussions and once the client was ready to proceed, our installation team made a site visit to take precise measurements of the openings. Given that this project involved replacing existing windows with original timber components still in place, our installers had to make a return trip to the site. This second visit involved removing the existing beams, trims and silicone, measuring, and refitting to ensure that all openings were accurately measured before the order was finalized.

Coordinating the delivery and installation was a challenge due to the property's location in a windy area. Our expert installers had to use their skills to lift the units over a wall to access the courtyard for window installation. The end result is a set of windows that enhance the beauty of the property, and we are confident that they will bring joy to the client for many years to come.
